Who we are
In this statement, "Maverick Labs", "we" and "us" mean the Maverick Labs business, which operates this website. You can reach us at connect@maverick-labs.io.
What this website collects
- No cookies, trackers or analytics. We don't set cookies, and we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- Fonts and files are served from this site. Pages don't load fonts or scripts from third-party services.
- Hosting. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. It may keep short-term logs for those purposes.
- Lab activities, demos and the Opportunity Finder run entirely in your browser. Nothing you choose or type in them is sent to us. The only thing kept is a note of which Lab activities you have finished, saved in your own browser (local storage) so the Lab page can show your progress. It never leaves your device, and "Clear my progress" on the Lab page removes it.
When you contact us
The contact form doesn't submit anything to this website. It prepares an email in your own email app, which you review and send. When you email us, we receive whatever you include, usually your name, email address, organisation and a description of a work process.
We use that information only to reply to you and, if we work together, to plan and deliver the engagement. We don't sell it, add you to a mailing list without asking, or use it to train AI models.
Please don't include confidential, personal or commercially sensitive details in a first message. If an engagement needs business information, we agree what is shared and how it is handled first.
Where it is stored
Emails are kept in our email system for as long as they are needed for the purpose they were sent, and for our ordinary business records. Our email and hosting providers may store or process information outside Australia.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your enquiry, by emailing connect@maverick-labs.io. We'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.
Questions and complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, email us first and we'll try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If we start collecting anything new through this website, such as privacy-friendly visit statistics, we'll update this statement first and change the date at the top.
