Find the hidden rule.
Each shape belongs to Group A or Group B. A hidden rule decides which. Sort them, get feedback, and after each set say how confident you feel. At the end, try shapes you've never seen and compare your confidence with your accuracy.
What to watch
Whether your confidence rises with your accuracy, runs ahead of it, or lags behind. Feeling sure and being right are different signals.
Runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. The only thing remembered, in this browser, is which activities you have finished. This is not a test of you.
Adapted from a pilot task in Maverick's learning research. The research model behind it is unproven, so this page shows the task only. It does not make claims about how people learn.
